Zenith Bank Nigeria announces director’s death

The late professor joined the bank in 2016 as an independent non-executive director.

Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc has disclosed the death of one of its directors, Prof. Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe.

Going by a regulatory filing by the lender to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the late professor joined the bank in 2016 as an independent non-executive director.

Via the statement filed to the NSE, the bank expressed their condolences and prayed for God to grant the deceased's family the fortitude to bear the loss. It also recognized that all other connected announcements would be as directed by the family of the deceased.
