Iraq's Leading digital wallet ZainCash has selected banking software company Temenos to create its digital payment system and champion its expansion agenda. Founded in 2013 and licensed by the Central Bank of Iraq, ZainCash majorly provides integrated electronic financial services like mobile wallets and money transfers in the country.

Operating with over 4000 agents across Iraq, ZainCash processes millions of transactions and is eager to enhance its services to Iraq and the middle eastern region. The choice in Temenos will aid in creating a state-of-the-art software system for ZainCash, ushering a quicker and more efficient service to Iraq's FinTech industry. ZainCash Chief Executive Officer, Yazen Altimimi in comments stated; "we chose to partner with Temenos because we needed an open and agile banking platform that would allow us to quickly innovate and scale".
