After a successful Series C run in 2024 that brought it to unicorn status, Nigerian fintech startup Moniepoint, has just scored a substantial investment from Visa. Although the specific amont is undisclosed, TechCrunch reports that it is over $10 Million.
Speaking on the investment, its CEO, Tosin Eniolorunda says:
Visa’s backing is a strong endorsement of our vision to digitise and support African businesses at scale. Together, we aim to deepen financial inclusion, enabling SMEs to access the tools and resources they need to thrive in an increasingly digital economy
