NBCC graduates 108 entrepreneurs

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) recently held the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of its Women and Youth Entrepreneurship Programme at the Chamber's headquarters.

The Nigeria-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has successfully graduated 108 entrepreneurs from its Women and Youth Entrepreneurship Program.

This initiative aims to empower young individuals and women by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the business landscape. The program included various training sessions focused on entrepreneurship, business management, and financial literacy, equipping participants with essential tools to start and grow their businesses.

The graduation ceremony saw the attendance of notable dignitaries who supported the initiative. Ama Onyerinma, Vice-Chair and Co-Founder of Africa Sustainable Trade and Immediate Past Chair of the British Business Group Nigeria, delivered an inspirational talk on intentionality, goal-setting, and the importance of strategic networking in achieving success. Adenike Macaulay, MBA, CEO of Wakanow, also addressed the graduates.

The graduation ceremony highlighted the importance of supporting entrepreneurship as a means of driving economic growth and creating job opportunities in Nigeria.

The NBCC's commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem has been evident through the program, which not only enhances individual capabilities but also contributes to the broader economic development of the country.
