Saudi Foodics acquires POSRocket

For POSRocket, this deal gives it access to profit from Foodics vast ecosystem while promoting an expansion bid for the Foodics brand in the North African region

Foodics, a cloud-based point of sale (POS) and restaurant management system focused on retail, food and beverages based in Saudi Arabia, has acquired POSRocket. Established in 2016 and based in Jordan, POSRocket also provides cloud-based point of sale (POS) software for restaurants and is the second largest in North Africa. POSRocket allows restaurant owners to manage their businesses remotely.

Since the pandemic, the retail, food and beverages industry has witnessed a significant increase in the digitalization of its operations. The acquisition of POSRocket ensures that Foodics can expand its operations to other regions of North Africa. This acquisition secures Foodics a leadership and more dominant position in the retail, food, and beverages marketspace.

Foodics represented by CEO and co-founder Ahmad Al-Zaini expressed his content in the acquisition process. In comments stating, “we are delighted to welcome the POSRocket astronaut team, its client and partners to the Foodics family, and we look forward to growing together for the benefit of a wider ecosystem”.
