Flutterwave appoints Mitesh Popat as new CFO

One of Africa’s leading payments technology companies, Flutterwave has announced the appointment of Mitesh Popat as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mitesh Popat brings a wealth of global financial expertise to Flutterwave as its newly appointed Chief Financial Officer. With over two decades of experience spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Popat is poised to play a pivotal role in Flutterwave's next growth and financial sustainability phase.

Flutterwave's new Chief Financial Officer

Before joining Flutterwave, Mr. Popat held key executive positions at Citi, including CFO for the Middle East and Africa, overseeing finance operations across 29 countries. He also served as CFO for Global Equities Sales and Trading, managing the financial aspects of a $5 billion revenue business. His extensive background in managing complex financial operations across diverse markets positions him well to drive Flutterwave's strategic financial initiatives.

Mitesh Popat, speaking on his appointment, said, "I am excited to have joined the Flutterwave team at this important time in the company's journey.
