Globacom's MoneyMaster PSB Grows Customer Base

Payment service bank MoneyMaster records growth in its customer base in Nigeria

MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank (MMPSB), a licensed payment service bank backed by telecommunications giant Globacom, has continued to record growth in its customer base in Nigeria.

As a payment service bank, since its inception in 2019, MoneyMaster has focused mainly on the unbanked and under-banked to deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria. Following the launch of its commercial operations in May 2022, the bank's client base has been growing exponentially, with hundreds of potential customers leveraging its digital channels such as USSD, mobile app and internet banking to open accounts, buy airtime and data, pay utility bills and more.

Speaking on its growth, MoneyMaster said, "More Nigerians are joining the bank to enjoy the wide array of services offered and conduct their financial transactions easily and with assurance of the security of their transactions. There are currently over 4,000 billers on the MMPSB platform, and the number is growing daily."

The bank attributed its positive growth to several innovations and services it introduced in the past few months to benefit its customers nationwide. Existing and new customers are in for an exciting time as the MoneyMaster will look to continue to retool and reengineer for a better customer experience.
